Breaking Points

In the following, we would like to show some examples of types of break points and separation options. Usability must be checked on a case-by-case basis. The various types of breaking points are possible on both straight and curved edges.

The basic definition specifications of the “milling” and “scoring” processes must be observed.

01 – Milled with distance

02 – Milled with distance
and intermediate drilling

03 – Milled with distance
and 3 intermediate drillings

04 – Milled with distance, offset inwards, with drill hole

05 – Milled with distance
at the edges

06 – Milled with distance
at the edges and
intermediate drilling

07 – Milled with distance
and scoring lines

08 – Scored

09 – Inside edge
(Residual material)

10 – Residual material
(no Residual material)

11 – Scoring and milling
of a round PCB

12 – Breakpoints + Scoring
of a round PCB

13 – Mini-PCB
Milling and scoring

14 – Mini-PCB
Scoring

Remark

01 – Remaining pieces remain on the edge
03 – Copper must be moved inwards
04 – Copper must be moved inwards
11 – May result in an unstable panel
